7th Annual
Pumpkin Carving Contest 2021

Saturday,  October 3oth

We will modify the contest again this year to ensure safe distancing for all!

To participate: Drop-off your carved and/or decorated pumpkin at our table at the park entrance between 12pm and 2pm.
We will take your family’s name and the name of your pumpkin then place your pumpkin in our pumpkin patch: Greenwich Street between Duane and Reade Streets.

The pumpkins will be judged in five categories: cutest, scariest, funniest, most creative and most realistic. There also will be an overall winner.

Winning pumpkins and their photos will be posted to the park’s Instagram account at 2:30pm, and awards may be claimed afterward.

You may pick-up your pumpkins at 2:30pm OR let them spend the next few nights in the park for visitors to enjoy! Park staff will compost any remaining pumpkins the following weekend.

We hope to see you and your pumpkin there!
