We’ll have an exciting SPRING COMBO in 2026…
It’s My Park Day + Ladybug Day!

Saturday, May 9
10:30AM – 12PM

For our May 9th event, we will be planting colorful annuals in the garden as well as releasing thousands of ladybugs — we’d love your help! We also will have plastic gloves on hand for adult volunteers who would like to help rid the park beds of microlitter. Please join us and help beautify the park!

The NYC Parks Department encourages communities to come together for hands-on help in the city’s parks. Here at Washington Market Park, we host gardening events for families to fill the garden beds with flowers and bulbs in spring and autumn.
