It’s My Park Day

The NYC Parks Department encourages communities to come together for hands-on help in the city’s parks. Here at Washington Market Park, we host gardening events for families to fill the garden beds with flowers and bulbs in spring and autumn.

For our October 4th event, we will be planting crocus and grape hyacinth bulbs in the garden. We also will have plastic gloves on hand for adult volunteers who would like to help rid the park beds of microlitter. Please join us!
