Pumpkin Carving Contest

Our fun, free and festive pumpkin decorating contest has grown into a community favorite, and this is it’s 10th year!

THE DROP
Bring your already-decorated pumpkin to the park between 3-5pm.
Electric candles will be available should you need them.
The entries will receive a label for naming then will be placed in the park.

THE JUDGING
Our esteemed judges will assess the entries and make their decisions between 5-5:30pm.

THE AWARDS
Judges will announce the contest winners in the park by 5:30pm. Prizes will be awarded in five categories as well as an overall winner and a runner-up overall winner.

2023

Eighty-nine entries graced the gardens and lawn in 2023, and competition was fierce. Prizes were awarded to one overall winner as well as to winners and runners-up in five categories: scariest, funniest, cutest, most realistic and most creative.
